Happy Birthday Mom!

This is the look that started it all! This weekend was my mom's Birthday, and to surprise her, my sisters and I decided to have my sister Amy (who lives in Washington and we don't get to see that often) fly down and spend the weekend with us. So Friday as soon as I got off work I ran to the airport to pick her up. We stopped by my mom's office on the way home, and TOTALLY caught her off guard! It was great. So Friday my family all went out to dinner and a movie, then Saturday the REAL fun began! We convinced my mom we were just doing a 'Girls Day Out', but while we were gone, my dad decorated the house in all black, over the hill stuff, ordered dinner and awaited our arrival. Us girls had such a great time! We started it off right by heading to Tai Pan! I got tons of deals. I love that store SOOOOO much! We went to another craft home decor store, out to lunch at Olive Garden, and then finished it off with shopping for clothes! It doesn't get much better! So we head back to the house acting as if it were the end of our adventure. As we walk inside it was all nicely decorated, black streamers hanging from the ceiling, "Over the Hill" plastered everywhere, and my neices and nephews decked out in the old geezer glasses (see below) We had dinner and cake and ice cream. It was such a fun time to be able to spend time with all the girls. We're so glad you were able to come Amy. It wouldn't have been as much fun without YOU!! All in all, it was a GREAT WEEKEND!
