Is it Monday yet?

Never in my life have I ever looked forward to a Monday. Since working at the hospital, and spending my weekend which consists of Thursday through Monday call.... I anticipate the beginning of a NEW work week. Most people despise Mondays, due to the realization that their weekend has come to an end. But me? Oh no, I jump for freaking joy! Luckily I only have to take weekend call every 6th weekend. I guess it could be worse. I have lived with these two objects by my side for the past 4 days. Oh yay for the invention of the cell phone and pager!It gets old after a while. Friday I got called in for a few cases. Saturday I got called in again at 0700 and emergency after emergency, clocked in a good 12 hours straight overtime. It was rough though. I intended on leaving after our third case, and only made it a few blocks away and my phone rang again. Thankfully today has been lighter, I wont say much considering the day isn't over yet...Tibial fractures... Appendectomys...Cholecystectomys....I'm tired. And tomorrow is a new day. FINALLY... NO CALL!
