Crib Beddding

Well there's been MUCH talk about it, and its finally done! Thanks so much to my awesome mother for helping me on this, I couldn't have done it without her!

I looked all over for cute baby bedding, and I just couldn't seem to find anything I liked. I'm not a huge fan of the 'pepto-bismol pink'. I like pink, but only in moderation, and everything I found for a girl had way too much of it. So, I decided to make my own! It wasn't much cheaper (fabric is so flippin expensive), but it was definitely worth it. It means so much more when you can say "dang that looks good, and yup I did it!"

So here is the outcome... even down to the fitted sheet. Sewn by hand. I can brag right? I'm proud of myself!!

Heck yes you can brag! It looks great :) I like the idea of colors other than pink for a girl. I bought (yeah, I'm not that handy when it comes to sewing) a hand made blanket set for Bella's toddler bed, brown, pink, and white to go on her white furniture.

Way to go! I'm excited to see it. :)

I was the same way, and my hubby couldn't live with out having our little boy have a baseball room-and only baseballs, needless to say what i found was exspensive and not my style...so my mother-in-law is helping me with the bedding as well. You did an amazing job!!! her room is going to be super cute!!!! and yes i do wish i lived closer so we could craft together!
